With a magnificent performance to start the Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall live show in Kingston on Saturday, Dre Blunt believes the journey has just begun and intends to continue the momentum throughout the competition.

"We are campaigning hard to get the votes and to boost my presence out there in the street and we have been getting good responses so far" a humbled Dre Blunt noted.

Performing the remix to his hit Mi Nuh Have It this upcoming dancehall artiste showcased his versatility when he told the audience on Saturday that Mi Have It song which had the crowd in a frenzy.

International dancehall artiste Konshens endorsed his performance on Saturday noting that this young dancehall act came prepared to deliver.

"You come fi di show my yute, yu performance sell off we can see that yu come fi di show" Konshens concluded. 

Magnum Kings & Queens of Dancehall is filmed live on Saturdays at the Weekendz Bistro and Bar in Kingston on TVJ. 

The objective of Magnum Kings & Queens of Dancehall is to unearth and showcase authentic Jamaican dancehall talent. The producers and cast have undertaken the task of moulding the contestants into professionals, giving them the advice necessary to tackle the dancehall stage and the music in general. The voted King and Queen of Dancehall will be given the tools with which to construct a viable career as dancehall artistes.
