Upcoming Dre Blunt mixed tape

In a bid to ensure that his voice remains relevant within the music industry, upcoming dancehall act Dre Blunt is pressing for the March 31st deadline to release his highly anticipated mixed tape dubbed Billboard Music.

"We are looking at the end of March to release the mixed tape. Persons can look for the popular single 'Mi Nuh Have It' to be on there, we will also have 'Safe Sex', 'Lhow yu Daughter' and 'Beggy Beggy' on it" Dre Blunt revealed.

With the increased popularity of his hit 'Mi Nuh Have It' the artiste has been motivated to create a music video, something he noted, is currently being pursued.

Among the business changes that Dre Blunt and his team has made, is that of the name of his entertainment company. The name has changed from Rob Dem Records to Billboard Entertainment.

The move he clarified was "to ensure that when we are introduced to the world, a negative picture is not painted, so we thought Billboard Entertainment is something we decided on and it is line with what we want to achieve, which is having a Billboard hit some day".

Meanwhile, the persistent entertainer has beefed up his marketing campaign for his participation in the Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall.

So, far he has performed at the Rockfort Vocational Training Centre (where he once attended) and Dre Blunt is currently making preparations to perform in several high schools in Kingston in a bid to cement in the minds of the public that he is the dancehall act to vote for come February 13, 2010.

Look out for Dre Blunt during this year's staging of Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall.
